To an extent to relax this pressure the institute caters time for play, music, dance and art. In fact these are the vital subjects to help a child develop a healthy personality that shall go with better learning and to cope with life. Again these subjects but for Art, have a pattern and cannot go with the whims of the child in a class. It is only the Art class that can provide a freedom of expression in each child. An art teacher needs not her talent as a good artist but needs the patience and efficiency in allowing each child to explore and learn beyond classrooms most independently. An Art teacher should constantly be updated and good at her communication skills as this class is where the conversation is beyond a structure or text books. This is the class where a child can be trained on the various aspects of life. This is the class that can identify a child’s mental ability and behaviour. It is absolutely incorrect to give a template book and curtail the freedom of thoughts. Templates and board teaching will only make them copycats. Let's change the conventional mode of picking the most beautiful artwork for display. Children should be given the freedom to apply their creative skills in any given topic or a subject they prefer.
Children should be allowed to scribble, write, dabble with colors most different from each other. The Art class does have the onus of allowing freedom while also providing the essence of life lessons like gratitude, respect, relationship, communication skills and most importantly overcome their stress levels and develop Creative Skills that is essential for individuality and confidence in whatever field they may choose later.
There is a difference to being an artist and being an art-teacher. The reasoning that induced me to begin the program of INDFAME for schools. I'm indeed thankful to the institutions that allowed me to explore the depth of Art in various curricula. I also hold gratitude to TOI, that gave me an exposure to many schools as an educational consultant.

To guide the thinking pattern and reasoning in children through art from a young age. The 40mins art class can do wonders and I feel that time should be an elixir to their ability and understanding of the world. The only class that can unleash their individual thoughts which in turn allows us to understand them better.
